Alistair enjoyed careers as a British Army Officer, an Investment Banker and then management consultant for Save the Children International and St Thomas’ Hospitals.
Alistair’s Screenplays include MIRBAT, based on the true story of the Special Air Service in Oman, 1972, with a 2021 shoot date planned. He has also completed THE EAGLE AND THE LION, a Victorian Boxing Movie. THE HORSEMAN AND THE COWGIRL, set in the world of Equestrianism. LOUIE’S LOVE a romantic drama, based on his grandmother’s love affair with an Italian POW during World War II.
Alistair has also co-written ESCAPE TO FREEDOM – a story of canine heroism – now under option to Tiara Blu Films in Los Angeles. He co-created the TV series BLACK HACKLE, which is under option to Sigma Films in Scotland.
For television, Alistair has co-written MADAME RACHEL, the real life rags to riches story of a Jewish Victorian who became famous for her outlandish cosmetics and scandalous involvements with the aristocracy. He has written and created two further TV series: YUDDAH GURUNG a Psychological thriller, about a decorated veteran Gurkha tracking down a psychotic military-obsessed survivalist, and MOTHER, FATHER, SISTER, BROTHER about a victim support group coming together in the aftermath of a terror attack at a music festival.
